When Sierra Vista Shows Up for Its Own

The official Rise AZ Pancake Breakfast Punch Card — available now from Jai Rocha and team.

There’s something special about a community that rallies around itself. And that’s exactly what’s happening right now in Sierra Vista.

You may already know Rise AZ Music Festival — Arizona’s biggest free, faith-based music event, held at Veterans Memorial Park right here on East Fry. Last year it brought hundreds of families together for a full day of live music, worship, and inspiration. This year’s event is shaping up to be even bigger, with nationally recognized artists, powerful speakers, and a lineup that spans worship, Christian hip-hop, and rock — all free to attend, all right here in our backyard.

What you might not know is that behind every great community event is a team working hard long before the first note plays. Jai Rocha of Rocha Planning & Promotions and his team are the driving force behind Rise AZ, and they’re doing something we love: keeping the fundraising local.

Here’s how it works. Jai and team are selling Pancake Breakfast Punch Cards — $35 for four full pancake breakfasts, redeemable right here at Landmark Cafe. Every card purchase helps fund Rise AZ, and every visit sends you home with a hot stack and a story. It’s community investment you can actually taste.

We were honored when Jai reached out about this partnership. Landmark Cafe has been a West End destination for decades, and being part of something that brings this community together — across churches, neighborhoods, and backgrounds — is exactly the kind of work we believe in. Small businesses are the backbone of cities like ours. When we support each other, everyone wins.

The Rise AZ team is actively welcoming support from churches, local businesses, and individuals who want to get involved. Whether you’d like to sell cards through your congregation, offer them to your customers, or simply share the word in your circle, Jai and his team would love to hear from you. Reach out directly at rochaplanningandpromotions@gmail.com or call (520) 270-3924 — every conversation is a step toward making this event bigger and better for all of Sierra Vista.

If someone in your church, your neighborhood, or your circle of friends offers you one of these cards, we hope you’ll say yes. You’re getting a great breakfast at a price that makes sense — and you’re helping make Rise AZ possible for every family in this valley who walks through those gates free of charge.

And if you’re already a regular at Landmark, you know this: we don’t do things halfway. Every cardholder gets the same warm welcome, the same hot coffee, and the same food we’ve been proud of for more than thirty years. Come hungry. Bring a friend. Leave a tip for your server — they make the magic happen.

Sierra Vista is the kind of place where neighbors still look out for each other. This is one of those moments. We’re proud to be part of it.
